What Allin Maki does with the details a shop, distributor or brand gives us when it asks for a quotation, requests the catalogue or writes to us. Updated on 23 October 2026.

Who looks after your data

Allin Maki is the trading name of Alpacas Allin Maki S.A.C., registered in Peru under RUC 20603737585 and working from Lima and Juliaca. That company decides what happens to your personal data and answers for it.

Every question about this page goes to hello@allinmaki.com. The registered address is printed on each proforma invoice, and we give it to anyone who asks for it.

###  What we ask for  ###

The details we receive, and where from

  • The order form. The name of your business and the name it trades under, its address, and a separate delivery address if the goods go somewhere else. Your VAT, EORI or importer number. Your own name, email and phone number. The country you sell in, the kind of business it is, and the alpacas, branding and shipping you choose. If you pick files to attach, we receive their names only; the files themselves stay on your computer.
  • The catalogue request. Your email address, the language of the page and the page you sent it from.
  • Email and WhatsApp. Whatever you decide to tell us, which is usually your name, your business and how to reach you.
  • Any visit. Our host's servers log the technical side of each request, for example your IP address and which browser you use. The order form and the catalogue request also turn your IP address into a scrambled code, kept only so nobody can flood them.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Outside Europe it sets two cookies, in Europe none, and its advertising features are switched off everywhere. The details are on the cookies page.

###  What for  ###

What we use it for

We use it to work out your quotation, to make your order and ship it, to issue the proforma, the invoice and the export papers, to keep you posted on how your order is going, and to answer what you ask us. There is no mailing list: every email you get from us is about your own request or order.

We rely on the contract between us, or on the steps you ask us to take before there is one, and on our legitimate interest in replying to the businesses that write to us. Invoices and order records are also kept because tax and trade law require it.

###  Who handles it  ###

The services that hold or carry it

  • Supabase runs our order system on servers in Frankfurt, Germany, inside the European Union. Quotations, orders and catalogue requests are stored there.
  • Resend sends the emails about your order and the catalogue.
  • Google Workspace holds our own mailbox, hello@allinmaki.com.
  • Anthropic translates the messages written on your order page between English and Spanish, so you and the workshop can read each other.
  • Vercel hosts the website. The fonts are part of the site itself, so no font service sees your visit.
  • Frankfurter, a free exchange rate service, gives the order form the euro rate of the day when you read the site in Dutch, German or French or your browser is set to a European time zone. That request carries nothing about you except, like any request, your IP address.
  • WhatsApp, which belongs to Meta, carries any conversation you start with us there.

Several of these companies are American and may process data in the United States, under safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. We never sell or rent your data. Apart from these services it goes only to our workshop and to the carrier that brings your order to you.

###  On your device  ###

What your browser keeps

A few things are put in the local storage of your browser, never in a cookie: the alpacas you mark as favourites, the order you are putting together, and, once you have sent it, its reference and the link to your order page, for 180 days, so you can order the same mix again. If the order form shows you a euro total, the rate is kept there too until the end of that day.

None of it reaches us until you send an order. Clearing your browser data removes all of it, and on a shared computer the button "Not your order? Forget it" removes a sent order straight away.

###  How long  ###

How long we keep it

  • Orders and invoices. As long as tax law asks of us, and ten years at the most.
  • Everything else. Quotations that did not become an order, catalogue requests and other messages stay for two years after we last heard from you, unless you want them gone sooner.

###  Your rights  ###

What you can ask of us

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to get a copy in a common format, or to make us stop using it. Write to hello@allinmaki.com and you will have an answer within a month.

You can also take a complaint to the data protection authority where you live, whether that is in the European Union, the United Kingdom or elsewhere. In Peru that is the national authority for the protection of personal data.
