### Cookies ###
Cookies: none
Outside Europe, Google Analytics sets two cookies so we can see which pages are read. In Europe only once you accept cookies. There is no advertising on the site. Updated on 26 October 2026.
### Local storage ###
What the site keeps in your browser
The site puts up to five small items in the local storage of your browser. Unlike a cookie, local storage is never sent along with your visits: it stays on your device, and only the page itself reads it.
- Your favourites (am-favourites-v1). The alpacas you mark with the heart on the collection page, so they are still there next time. Kept until you remove them.
- The order you are building (am-order-file-v4). Your mix on the order form, so you can stop and carry on later. Deleted as soon as you send the order.
- Your last order (am-order-last-v1). After you send an order, its reference and the link to your order page, so you can order the same mix again. Kept for 180 days.
- The euro rate (am-fx-usd-eur-v1). Only when the order form shows you a total in euros: the exchange rate of the day, so it is not fetched again on every step. Replaced the next day.
- Your cookie choice (am-consent-v1). Only in Europe: whether you accepted or declined cookies on the cookie card, so it does not ask again.
### Analytics ###
How we count visits
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read, where they come from and at which step the order form loses them. Outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it sets two cookies:
- _ga tells one visitor from another. Kept for two years.
- _ga_5721VRMZJG keeps one visit together. Kept for two years.
Inside those countries a small card asks first. Until you accept cookies no cookie is set, and Google only receives a count of the visit, without anything that recognises you. Advertising features are switched off everywhere. Vercel, our host, also measures how fast each page loads, without a cookie.
### Removing it ###
Clearing it
In the settings of your browser, remove the stored data of allinmaki.com, or wipe your whole browsing history, and all five disappear, together with any Google Analytics cookies. On the order form, the button "Not your order? Forget it" removes your last order straight away, which is worth doing on a computer you share.
### Elsewhere ###
When you leave the site
The WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp, which belongs to Meta, and from there its own cookie rules apply. What we do with the details you send us is on the privacy page.
